A State of Emergency would need to be declared in Georgia. That would allow GA restaurant owners  to apply for an SBA disaster assistance loan(s).

.

We encourage owners to reach out to Governor Kemp to sign an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency in Georgia:

Last week the Small Business Administration announced disaster assistance loans for small businesses impacted by #Coronavirus (#COVID19). These funds must be requested by State Government first - once the deceleration is issued - applications will open. We can expect that to happen in the coming weeks.

SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer up to $2 million in assistance for a small business. These loans can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing- especially businesses that otherwise would not be able to go to a traditional bank or lending institution.
